Principles of arya samaj
God is the primary cause of all
true knowledge and everything known
by its means.
God is absolute truth (Sat0, absolute
intelligence (Chit) and is all bliss
(Anand). He is incorporeal, Almighty,
Just, Merciful, Unborn, Infinite, Unchangeable,
Beginningless, Incomparable, the support
of all, All-pervading, Omniscient, Omnipotent,
Omnipresent, Eternal, Immortal, Fearless,
Holy and Creator of the Universe.
To him alone worship is due.
The Vedas are the books of all true
knowledge. It is the paramount duty
of every Arya to read them, teach, hear
and to recite them.
All ought to be ready to accept
truth and renounce untruth.
All acts ought to be performed in
conformity to Dharma (virtue and righteousness).
The primary objective of Arya Samaj
is to promote welfare of the whole world,
i.e. to promote physical, spiritual
and social progress of all humans beings.
All ought to be treated with love,
justice and with due regards to their
Ignorance (Avidya) must be dispelled
and knowledge (Vidya-realization and
acquisition of true knowledge) should
No one should be contented with
his own welfare alone, but every one
should regard his or her prosperity
in the common welfare of all.
One should subordinate oneself for
the common welfare of the society while
one is free to act for his/her own welfare.
